The Honda and stance game has been booming here in the sooner state this year.
As you might have told from all the recent Honda derived posts, standing out is becoming a must.
YES, you can throw a set of Rota’s or XXR’s on and make fitment.
YES, it can look really good but regardless – its been done.
Choosing to stand out from the crowd is Jose Campos and his 2008 Honda Civic Si.
For one, its super low. And secondly, the black on silver looks quite devilish.
But it usually takes a little more than just lowering it and throwing on some wheels.
The owner’s personality and style will define the small details that go into making it original.
Jose decided for wheels he would go with a fail-proof set of Enkei RPF1′S in 17×9+35(30 effectively with spacers).
For a little extra clearance, he has a pretty decent stretch going on with a set of 215/40 all around.
Sit back and relax as we enjoy and marvel at this gorgeous 8th Gen Si.
Memories are what makes anything we’ve ever done worth the time. They give value to life’s events.
Memories are the things we look back at that remind us of a certain feeling and time in our lives.
And the things we hold onto that remind us of those memories become very dear to our hearts.
But for whatever reason, many of us will part with something we really cared about.
A lot of us have built a car from bone stock or worse, into a visual representation of our personal styles.
Putting our hard earned checks and painstaking hours of labor into something we enjoy everyday.

More often times than not, something so simple, can be so brilliant.
Like, just waking up early enough to be able to see the sunrise – natural beauty can overlooked.
I believe that those sorts of things need to be celebrated more.
How can showy props and gimmicks be our usual focus when the simple are being ignored?
Well, today is not one of those days. Today, i am showing my appreciation for the once ignored.
For Neil, it all began with a tattered, $400 E30 shell, and restoring it from the ground up.
With a little love, it has transformed. At a time, left for dead.
Now, back from the grave, it was given a second chance at life.
“I’d like to think of it as my little project car. Something to take to meets, take to auto-x on the weekends, etc. There’s nothing extravagant about it.”
A lot of time and attention has gone into building this E30, but according to Neil, “There is more work to be done.”
What is the main assumption about our style of cars by the majority of the car world? That we are hipsters, a fad?
They assume stance is about stretching tires, -12 degrees of camber, and buildings cars that could never perform.
In some cases, they may be true – but there are many difference kinds of stance.
Chris and his dangerously, unassuming RSX is one car you shouldn’t underestimate.
With a modest interior – just a passenger and driver seat, nothing else. Interior carpeting and panels, removed.
Tucking the tire – with a nicely fitted, amount of meat on these wheels.
Oh, and did i mention, its boosted and tuned with E-85?
Big thanks to Michael Taylor Media for the picture from last years IFO
Once upon a time, there was a land where nothing interesting ever happened.
Then from out of the shadows, came a Civic. But not just your ordinary Civic, this one was special.
This one had style, class, and attitude. Most importantly, this Civic brakes necks.
Not to be mistaken for the silver surfer, this Civic has some SERIOUS attitude.
Hovering inches…no…centimeters from the ground, id be afraid to be a highway reflector or his oil pan.
Not only is Houa passionate about his car and giving it his own personal style, he’s a great guy and ballsy as hell to ride this low.
2011 has been insane! I’m so impressed with how far fitment has come since i got really into it 2009. With the blog coming super close to 20,000 views i figured id send out a personal thank you to all my viewers with a super sticker blowout! 5 for $10 while supplies last! Colors come in white, red, green, and blue. Here’s a few pics of cars rocking one!
If you remember your childhood, most likely, if you are like the rest of us, you had that favorite car. That certain car you always wanted and aspired to get when you were old enough to drive. Do you ever wonder what the next generation will aspire to have as their daily drivers? Lambo? Ferrari? Way too overpriced and cliche. If I were born five years ago, looking at cars to be my dream car, this would be the one. I can easily say that Eraun Petry’s 2006 BMW 330i is what dreams are made of. With all the bells and whistles and a sick stance to boot, this euro has it all. This 330 you see below is equipped with Sport Package , BMW Performance Exhaust, Mtech Side Skirts & Rear Bumper, and M3 style front bumper – and that’s just the tip of the mod list.

When you normally think of Civics, you’d think of a great economy car and a great aftermarket for parts. When you think of a Civic in the fitment world, normally you’d think of XXR wheels, diamond racings, a bike rack, and stickerbombing.
When you see Eric’s Civic – it has none of that. Supercharged and floating inches above the pavement, it turns heads everywhere it goes. It’s Riding on 17×9.5+15 MB Battles with 205/40 tires all around. That kind of stretch allows for this super close fitment. After we rolled, cut, and pulled his fenders – it still rubs everywhere. Running about 0 camber upfront and 4-5 negative camber in the rear – it fits just right. When pulling in and out of the driveway, his fender tends to fit right between his lip and tire. Check out the to see this thing in action. Pushing 330whp all day!!
Any weak fitment can be upgraded if you have the willpower and the funds to do it.
But, some fender modding was a must to fit such a low offset.
After test fitting, we took it for a test drive – it rubbed everywhere.
Cleaning up the car before the shoot was a must.
It’s that time again for the monthly Coffee and Cars meet here in Oklahoma City. Where else can you find anything from Ferrari’s to Civic’s all in one place? I love the variety in car makes and ages of spectators at these meets. Also, i love the increasing amount of aggressive fitment that has grown ten-fold since i started the blog last summer. Here is just a handful of the cars that came out at this meet. Keep in mind, this meet is held in a public parking lot. Spots are somewhat limited and cars park wherever they can.
When you have a slammed car with stock wheels, you usually aspire to have a fresh look. Some might even want a more aggressive look with a wider stance. But it takes more than just throwing on some slightly wider wheels and some tires and getting some lowering springs. So you think you can stance? We’ll show you today, one way of how its done.
My buddy Bret already has had coils on his Miata and finally decided to get some wide wheels put on it. Already riding as low as his suspension will allow, he is used to avoiding big bumps and dips. Now that his wheels are in, we can show you a few easy steps you help you along your way of adding some “stance” to your ride.
Step 1 – Jack up the car, remove the wheels, and heat up the fenders.
Step 2 – Roll fenders (we used a hammer with a rag around it), reassemble, and ride to your neareast shop that will stretch tires.
Step 3 – Get tires of choice blown onto your new setup with a cheetah or method of choice and smile.
Step 4 – Test fit and pray they fit without having to do a ton of extra fender work.
Step 5 – Ride around and show-off your new setup to your friends.
That’s a BIG deal considering i run this all by myself and the only means of promotion is from word of mouth and that the stance scene is so small here compared to states like Texas. Thanks so much for everyone who checks out the blog and attended our meets. For all the love and support I’ve been getting here, I’m doing a special sticker sale with FREE SHIPPING! When you first hear bagged, usually with stanced cars, you’d think of a luxury car with super monster stretched tires, lots of negative camber, and all other things VIP style. Dusty decided to go another route and just have a clean, reliable daily that still turns heads when you see it slammed to the ground. This shoot took place all over the city. From a remote parking garage, to right in the depths of downtown, Dusty was turning heads and attracting all sorts of attention, as you’ll see in the video proceeding the pictures.
Dusty is riding on custom painted XXR’s in 16×7+0 wrapped in 205/50s.
Oklahoma has stepped it up ten fold and the 2nd 2011 Oklahoma stance/fitment meet has shown that. Where else would you find classy, aggressive, and original cars all in one place. Whether your style is low, wide, or both – everyone did it big! This end of the year meet was held at the dog park lot at Lake Hefner Park and there wasn’t nearly enough parking. With around 100 people in attendance, it defiantly blew our expectations out of the water! I can’t wait for the next one already. Like OKSTANCE on Facebook to keep updated with the stance scene in Oklahoma.
If you weren’t able to make it, October 15th was when the euro car show was held downtown in Bricktown. This meet was more quality over quantity, but there were some truly great cars that came out to show. From BMW to Ferrari, this had a little something for everyone into the euro-scene.
This Sunday in Tulsa, Oklahoma wasn’t focused on the usual things Oklahoman’s are going crazy about. None the less, you defiantly need to make it out to one of these SCCA events. Rallycross takes your usual autocross and blows it into pieces with mass amounts of dirt, grass, and gravel coming from all directions. Rear-wheel drive, front-wheel drive, and all-wheel drive all came out and drove hard trying to beat others on the clock. Check out some of the excitement in these pictures and do your best to make it out to future events like these.
Everyone knows Oklahoma’s favorite G35 – well now it’s got a full facelift.

At a local Starbucks right here in OKC there is a monthly meet you shouldn’t ever miss. The first Saturday of the month means the monthly coffee and cars meet. Full of great custom classic cars, expensive exotics, all the way to modded imports – i couldn’t stop taking pictures. Expect to see more coverage over these meets as they come along.
