Putting In Work – Tyler Williams’ 1992 EG

Work hard, play hard – that’s the name of the game when you are super slammed and super fitted.
Everything on the road is your enemy. Every dip, pothole, and curb must be avoided at all costs.
Oklahoma has a few veterans in the fitment game that have been doing it since 2010 and beyond.
My favorite of those has to be Tyler Williams. Everyone remembers his humble Diamond Racing wheel setup here.
Going through oil pans, break-ins, and some mechanical issues from that were just some of his overcomings.
Now, after getting the new paint, new wheels, and more camber than ever – his setup is flawless.
Though he is hardly ever satisfied for very long – it outdoes what most cars dream to do with their fitment.
So now, may I officially introduce you to the new, and much improved, ’92 VX Civic.

Dao’s White Wizard – Magic in the Making

Introducing the hottest Accord in the state of Oklahoma. Say hello to Dao Yang and his 2006 Honda Accord EX.
I’ve seen my share of fitted accords on the forums but this is literally one of my favorites out there.
The best thing about this car, besides the clean and aggressive fitment, is that Dao resides in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.

A lot of custom work went into getting this Accord to where it is now. Mostly one-off fitments that dont just bolt right up.
Seeing this car before it had any lip or anything, i can proudly say it’s come a long way. A totally different car from 3 months ago.
From the many OEM parts, to all the custom fitted parts – this car is super clean and well done. Stock styling on crack, if you will.

IFO Tulsa, OK – June 3rd

The cars coming out of Tulsa lately have been amazing. I’ve been blown away by the creativity, orginality, and swag.
Giving some of cars a proper showing was this years IFO in Tulsa. Coming from near, and far – the stanced guys came out and represented.
Be on the lookout for more awesome photos here, from Houa Vue! Thanks for the pictures since i dont get to make it up north often.
So without further delay, here’s just some of the rides that came out to strut their stance and hardpark like crazy.

Brittany’s Beauty and Beast Genesis 2.0T

It’s not very often that you see a car modified to suite those with a need for speed and to scrape pavement.
Function and form is a fairly common concept in the drift world, but most car enthusiasts stick to one or the other.
In this case, we have a low but extra quick 2010 Hyundai Genesis 2.0T coupe. Fully flush with power to boot.

Who needs to know what tire brand or size you are running when you look this good! Sidewall is so over-rated.
This sits so perfect for a spirited daily driver. Low enough to have a stand out stance but can tackle most roads normally.

Obviously the first thing you notice are the bright pink wheels that scream at you through all the black and carbon fiber.
Brittany went with an aggressive and what i would call perfect daily setup for any kind of driving you can throw at it.
For the wheels, Varrstoen 3.3.2′s were chosen. Sized in 19×9.5+22F 19×10.5+22R with tires sizes of 235/30F 245/40R.

Tony Tran’s Tasty S2000

Don’t you hate it when every car you see look’s the same?
Not just stock cars, but modded ones too. Slammed on stock wheels? So Boring.
Now what happens when you got some style and have the desire to stand out?
You make the car pop with poke and drop! How about a bright yellow and stanced s2k?
Brought to you by long time stanced OKC local, Tony Tran.
This is one of the VERY few fellas who’s been in the game since it all started here.
He’s out of his IS300 and now he’s stuntin hard in his new Honda.

Breaking necks isn’t as easy as it seems – you gotta put in work.
Rolling and pulling fenders is an art that most people fail at.
Getting the right wheel sizes, offset, and tire sizes takes a lot of research.

If you wanna see more of this gorgeous Honda, click the more link below this picture.
It’s got style, simplicity, aggression, and most of all – personality.
Keeping it mostly stock – yet making it one of a kind and stunning.
No, his lip is dragging the ground. No, his wheels weren’t $3000. But it’s done right, which is most important overall.

Cupcake Meet 13: Cup Cakin’ For A Cure – Oklahoma City 2012

Thanks to everyone who ventured out at Crossroads mall here in Oklahoma City!
Of course the event was the Cupcake Meet 13 as a benefit show to raise money for CF-Solutions in memory of Cody Sheets.
This event was a huge turnout for an Oklahoma show. So big infact, that the event made the local news.
This wouldn’t have been possible without all the crews from Texas and Kansas like squirrel squad and Lower Class.
A big thanks Cupcake Meet as a whole for coming here, NOS, Friction Motorsports,
and of course all of my Oklahoma OG’s who are always down for the cause like Low Standards.

I loved how all the crews and fans came out to mingle and support the cause, as well as one another.
It’s amazing to see more guys coming together all for the sake of fitment and to raise money.
I can’t describe how seeing this feels compared to the maybe 10 stanced cars in the state, back in 2010.
The fact that we are doing this here and now just shows that we are now on the map. Congrats Oklahoma!

So without more blabbing about how choked up i am for this to all be happening here, let’s get on with the pictures.
Check out these awesome xB’s all in a row. Struting their stuff and showing how they love living the low life.

PART 1 – leggo!

Ben’s 1978 280z

When something gets old, forgotten, and neglected – the memory of it fades out in our minds.
But it’s a wonderful gift to mankind when someone brings those memories back to life.
Ben Gibson did just that – dusting off the old boy and piecing him back together, this 280z has come a long way.
No it’s not a garage queen, no its not a weekend track car, and no this car doesn’t run the drag strip.
This old Z is a daily commuter. A companion from point A to point B.

The body isn’t perfect, it doesn’t have a totally reupholstered interior, the paint is – well, Frankensteined of sorts.
With the rising sun blaring at you and the low 240z front bumper – this Z defiantly stands out from the rest.
It doesn’t really resemble the classic, sleek, refined touches of a 280 in its stock form.
It’s bulky, its wide, and just kind of visually overbearing. But DAMN, do i love it.

This gnarly Z screams out to the open roads. Hugging the pavment Shakotan style and living life how it was meant to.
These cars weren’t produced to simply be a testament to classic Datsun craftsmanship and a shape very much accustomed to the 70s.
I believe they were made to enjoy whether you are the finicky owner, the spirited driver, or the awe struck gawker.

Tucking those wide, low offset wheels is a set of  zg flairs, slightly modified.
It took some torching and shaving but they look great for the wheels and flairs just being thrown on the day before.

Oklahoma Stance Meet #3 Part 2 – Low Standards 2012

Welcome Back to the second half of the coverage from the 3rd stance meet.

Cars came from near and far. The majority seemed to be Tulsa and Oklahoma City and some Mustang and Mdub folks came out as well.
I’m really feeling this Genesis. Super low, super clean – and doing fitment on a stock body just right.
If you see yourself pictured, give us a shout-out in the comments section and maybe ill email you back for free stickers.

It was a warm and sunny day here in the 405. The turnout was huge! (considering where we live)
After the last event where we ran out of room, finding a new spot was a must.
I think we did that pretty well and had plenty of room for everyone to come show out.
Check out TeddyP riding on them thangz like a BO$$!

Oklahoma Stance Meet #3 Part 1

Oklahoma Stance Meet #3 – Brought to you by Low Standards

I can’t believe the leaps and bounds this state has made turning their cars into something unique.
From stickered lip daily drivers to frame scraping weekend beauties, the scene here is booming.
I’ve never seen a turn out like this nor excepted all the different variety in cars and styles.

Some cars you will see all the way from the first stance meet and some are fresh, new out the box.
Big thanks to everyone for coming out and making this our biggest and best meet yet!
Just from this little preview, i cant imagine how huge and mind-blowing the OKC CCM:13 will be!

Look out for many of these cars pictured doing BIG things and many have already contacted me for features.
