Stick to Drifting | Round 2, Red River Shoot out

Cool spring weather, nice cloudy day, and the pleasant smell of burning rubber all up in your nostrils. You know it will be a good day!

April 20th 2013, Friction Motor Sports out of OKC and SticktoDrifting.com held their second Drift event. Red River Shootout 2, was held in Stroud Oklahoma. It was my first time at a drift event (vhx) and I gotta say, pretty legit stuff to watch. I would much rather be in the passenger seat getting all the second hand action but I had to “sticktophotography” and capture all the legit drifts.

December was a great month for the kids of OKC thanks to Team Diverse hosting their first meet at PCO.
There were all sorts of cars who came out to support and bring toys for the children in our area.
Big thanks to everyone who showed up and were respectful to the cause and location.

Work hard, play hard – that’s the name of the game when you are super slammed and super fitted.
Everything on the road is your enemy. Every dip, pothole, and curb must be avoided at all costs.
Oklahoma has a few veterans in the fitment game that have been doing it since 2010 and beyond.
My favorite of those has to be Tyler Williams. Everyone remembers his humble Diamond Racing wheel setup here.
Going through oil pans, break-ins, and some mechanical issues from that were just some of his overcomings.
Now, after getting the new paint, new wheels, and more camber than ever – his setup is flawless.
Though he is hardly ever satisfied for very long – it outdoes what most cars dream to do with their fitment.
So now, may I officially introduce you to the new, and much improved, ’92 VX Civic.

Dusty’s Bagged xB

When you first hear bagged, usually with stanced cars, you’d think of a luxury car with super monster stretched tires, lots of negative camber, and all other things VIP style. Dusty decided to go another route and just have a clean, reliable daily that still turns heads when you see it slammed to the ground. This shoot took place all over the city. From a remote parking garage, to right in the depths of downtown, Dusty was turning heads and attracting all sorts of attention, as you’ll see in the video proceeding the pictures.

Dusty is riding on custom painted XXR’s in 16×7+0 wrapped in 205/50s.

Saturday Coffee and Cars Meet

At a local Starbucks right here in OKC there is a monthly meet you shouldn’t ever miss. The first Saturday of the month means the monthly coffee and cars meet. Full of great custom classic cars, expensive exotics, all the way to modded imports – i couldn’t stop taking pictures. Expect to see more coverage over these meets as they come along.
