Richard’s Evil Evo IX – Video Feature

The owner, Richard Garcia, is a big-hearted enthusiast originally comes from California where this kind of car scene is commonplace. He is a single dad who works a lot of hours to make ends meet and build his other pride and joy on the side. These kind of budgets are very committed and focused when building a car and taking care of your own at the same time. This isn’t just a fast Evo. It’s tuned to E85 and pushing 400whp. Not a simple task you can do with just bolt-on’s. A small list of the mods: Mishimito radiator, GSC S1 cams, Greddy stealth turbo back exhaust, and RC 1200 CC injectors. The wheels you see are of course CCW LM20’s in 18×9.5+25 all around wrapped in 235 40 18 tires – the perfect amount of form and function. To help Richard hug the pavement he is on a set of fortune auto coilovers which gives him the perfect height for the street or track. Speaking of the track, he told me that at last years Import Face-off he ran a 12.0 1/4 mile at 116mph. Not only do the hellas give the front a mean look, he also set it off with a Turbo XS intercooler, and Ralliart front lip. To give a little more flair to the rear of the car, Richard found himself a JDM back bumper. He doesn’t seem to know how any wrong!

Other mods: Exedy Hyper Twin Clutch Forged Actuator Nisei short route piping and mini battery Greddy Pro Spec B manual boost controller Walbro fuel pump Forged BOV Tuned to run E85 by Tom Powell Big thanks to Villain Photography for the images and to Richard Van for the video!
